Rehoboth Beach has grown to become one of the most vegetarian/vegan friendly areas on the eastern shore. With more and more locals becoming health and humane minded, city folk vacationing or moving to the area are thrilled to find more and more options. Rehoboth Beach has exceptional variety.
These days, most restaurants in Rehoboth have vegetarian/vegan options. Grotto’s Pizza offers gluten-free pizza, the Big Fish Grill offers a Fresh Farmer’s Plate, and Arena’s Deli offers a dozen vegetarian sandwiches. But several cater specifically to that crowd.
Described as “eco-global fusion,” Hobos restaurant on Baltimore Avenue uses locally grown food while providing a menu rich in many different cultures. Much to a vegetarian’s delight, the menu is detailed

There is a well-kept secret just west of the beaches in Delaware, and it’s called Sports at the Beach. If you’ve got children who play baseball, you probably know all about it. Otherwise, read on to find out what you’re missing!
First and foremost at Sports at the Beach is youth baseball! From the first signs of spring to the last signs of fall, Sports at the Beach holds youth baseball tournaments every weekend, and weeklong “Summer Classics” most weeks. Kids range from 8 to 19 years old. Travel teams come from all over the country and occasionally, the world (including Israel and Australia), to compete. On average, each team play 5 to 9 games per weekend tournament and 8-12 per weeklong. Teams can stay on site in the dorms, or opt to stay in area
There are plenty of reasons for living in the Rehoboth Beach area, great communities, scenery and the beautiful ocean to name a few. There are also some wonderful annual events to look forward to:

What better way to wash away those winter blues than a dunk in the frigid Atlantic Ocean with all of your friends and neighbors? The Lewes Polar Bear Plunge is a "cool" experience raising funds for Special Olympics Delaware. Held the 1st Sunday in February, this chilling event has raised over $5.5 million in the past 20 years.

Whether you're a beach local or a visitor, Saturday, April 20 is shaping up to be a great weekend for giving back in the Rehoboth Beach/Lewes area. To start your day off, head to Cape Henlopen State Park for Autism Delaware's biggest fundraising event of the year, 2013 Walk for Autism. This year's walk is a three mile tour through the amazlingly beautiful Cape Henlopen landscape of pines, dunes, crashing waves, and historic monuments. It's a great activity for families! The Walk ends with a celebration in the park, including food, music, and children's activities. It's free to walk but fundraising is encouraged. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the walk begins at 11:00 am.
As for the evening, make sure you have a babysitter! The philanthropic Comedy
Clear Space Theatre Company, located on the beach block of Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth, was founded in 2004. The organization brings a much-needed facet to downtown Rehoboth - live entertainment. Performing on weeknights as well as weekends, and in the summer as well as year-round, families, couples, and friends can pick and choose between shows and times. This spring, as the beach approaches its busy season, so does Clear Space. And as usual, they've managed to dig up all sorts of talented actors and musicians right here on Delmarva.
In years past, Clear Space has presented such summer blockbusters as Chicago and Cabaret to sold-out houses. This year, not one to disappoint, Clear Space's summer reperatory includes: 9 to 5: The Musical, La Cage aux
